My photography is shaped by waiting — for light to change, weather to move through, and moments that can’t be forced.
My images are made by returning to places, often in difficult conditions, until they begin to reveal themselves.
Selected photographs are available as prints.
I also run a small number of carefully paced landscape workshops

About Dudley Williams
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
My dad had a Nikon in the 1960s, and growing up there were cine films and slide evenings at home — long before I had any sense of photography as a craft. Cameras were simply part of the furniture.
My photographs come from spending real time in the landscape — walking, waiting, watching weather change.
I take a flask, sit in dunes, and watch small movements of light. I stay. I watch. That’s where my photographs come from..
