Workshop Introduction
Harris is one of the most inspiring landscapes in Europe. Its vast beaches, shifting light, and constantly changing weather reward photographers who are prepared to slow down, observe carefully, and work with intention.
This workshop is designed as a mentoring-led experience, not a photographic tour. The emphasis is on helping you develop stronger composition, greater clarity of vision, and a more confident way of working in the landscape.
November is an exceptional time to photograph Harris. With the clocks having gone back, sunrise and sunset fall at civilised times, the light remains low and directional throughout the day, and the island feels quiet and elemental.

Getting There
The quickest way to reach Harris is by flying from Glasgow to
Stornoway with Loganair (approximately one hour).
International visitors are advised to fly into Glasgow and allow an overnight stay on both the outward and return journeys.
Where possible, flights will be coordinated so the group arrives together. I’ll meet the group at Stornoway Airport, provide transport to our hotel, and return everyone to the airport at the end of the workshop
Cancellation Policy
All payments are non-refundable. If a cancelled place is successfully re-sold, a refund may be offered at the organiser’s discretion, less any unrecoverable costs.
